A CLOSER LOOK · CARPENTRY & HOME IMPROVEMENTS
From the deck to the yard.
A straight timber staircase connects an elevated deck with the ground below. The front and side photographs show the same stair run, its wood rails and the gate at the upper landing.

WHAT THE PHOTOGRAPHS SHOW
One connection. Two perspectives.
Looking up from the yard, the front photograph shows the timber treads and rails rising toward the deck. Vertical balusters continue along both sides, with a gate visible at the upper landing.
The side view makes the stair run easier to follow alongside the existing raised deck. Its underside is visible in the background. Together, the photographs show the staircase within its surroundings, rather than an isolated detail.
